STATEMENT ON ZIMBABWE SANCTIONS
DEAR THE PEOPLE OF ZIMBABWE
WE HAVE LODGED A PETITION TO THE INTERNATIONAL COURT OF JUSTICE REGISTRY FOR THE ONWARD
TRANSMISSION TO THE ICJ JUDGES TO DETERMINE AND INTERPRET AS WHY THE UNITED STATES IF AMERICA AND
THE EUROPEAN UNION HAVE REFUSED TO LIFT SANCTIONS
AGAINST 11 ZIMBABWEANS AND ZIMBABWE SINCE 2000 TODATE-

UNITED KINGDOM together with a FRIENDLY AFRICAN STATE
PARTY OF ICJ (COURT NOTIFIED OF NAME) have today 24 October 2024 filed a PETITION AGAINST ZIMBABWE
SANCTIONS.
- Few Countries ni Africa have brought me greater pain, anguish and misery like Zimbabwe under sanctions since 1998, I have been on this journey as a volunteer and as a Pan-African defending this nation from the toxic fangs of Imperialism and
mercantile capitalism. - That is why today 24 October 2024 we have with the help of AN AFRICAN STATE PARTY TO ICJ JOINTLY LODGED A PETITION CHALLENGING ZIMBABWE SANCTIONS BY THE USA AND EUROPEAN UNION COMMISSION
- The USA and European Union viciously started spinning against this country in 1998 with the former Prime Minister
Tony Blair casting the first stone that isolated Zimbabwe. - Then later on the USA and their kin the European Union reared up their joint backhand that marked the isolation of
Zimbabwe. And, given the longevity of sanctions, that managed to haunt Zimbabwe I have relentlessly fought these sanctions since then.
2 - There is no other better person than me who will claim the trophy of having voluntarily stood by Zimbabwe at the expense of my own life. I received assassination threats in the United
Kingdom because of standing by Zimbabwe - The truth be told I just switched from one meeting in one European city to another meeting in another city and my emphasis was still removal of sanctions. Al advantages of the pain and courage I had goes to life. single hander here – Matsanga
- The USA backhand was the worst hand in the widely understood sense of escalating Zimbabwe’s isolation. It was simply a construct of the colonial hegemony in the time when the Cold War had ended.
- Zimbabwe might have been only 18 years of independence, but it was a product of an entirely new generation of liberators who wanted a better Africa.
- Born into the age of COLD WAR, media spin, oversized hatred of Mugabe and ZANU-PF Zimbabwe was called names,
labeled names and later on Isolated. With the partisan foreign policy of the USA Zimbabwe could simply not stand what was not a fair fight. - As I have said from 2000 to 2024, the sanction drama has been dominating even during the peak of COVID 19 Where USA should have shown humanity. I expected something remarkable to have happened during the COVID-19 epidemic. I thought USA would lift all sanctions.
- Annoyingly, this time, I have learned that the USA removed a few sanctions and left the President of Zimbabwe
HE ED Mangagwa and 1 others on sanctions. This may have had something to do with the hatred developed by USA against the Mnangagwa regime. - But there was also a gradual realisation which has made me together with another African friendly country to move to International Court of Justice ICJ to place evidence on how sanctions have hurt Zimbabwe.
- The people of Zimbabwe have been through so much together. I very much did not treat this matter lightly but as a
Disaster just the same as Genocide. I have learnt to appreciate that the type of suffering has been brought to my life. I have
therefore decided that the Heartache, Anger and exhaustion that I have undergone must be rewarded with a REMEDY. - Al Zimbabweans know that my name has been at the
center of this country’s political life but not ECONOMIC LIFE, the calling time on my career has come and an
acknowledgment that my body can no longer absorb the blows of professional ACTIVISM.

241° 2 0 - I want to ask the ICJ as I retire with what is probably the most courageous record in al of international law by moving to this court today 24 October 2024 to file this CONFIDENTIAL
EXPARTE FILING to the REGISTRY of the ICJ for security Reasons on matters that touch National security or USA and Zimbabwe - For me who loves tennis and criticism, I enjoy the works of Calvin Tomkins, the longtime art critic for “The New Yorker” once theorised that “the beauty of tennis, like the beauty of dance, is kinaesthetic, ni that we respond to certain shots as though we had made them ourselves.” Few observations have
struck such a chord with me in this quest for removing SANCTIONS AGAINST ZIMBABWE. - I want to thank the AFRICAN FRIENDLY STATE PARTY – t h a t ACCEPTED TO ASSIST US TO FILE AND TO HAVE its
Justice Ministry and Attorney General to ENJOIN US AS NON- STATE PARTY and FILE the Petition as STATE PARTY AS PER
ICJ Rules and Procedure.
