It never rains but pours for disgraced American rapper and record producer Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs after a lawyer announced that he is presenting Diddy with an additional 120 sexual assault lawsuits.
The 54-year old founder of Bad Boy Records is already languishing at the Metropolitan Detention Center in Brooklyn, a federal jail notorious for its violence amongst inmates.
This follows his arrest September 16 in New York on charges of racketeering conspiracy, s_ex trafficking by force and transportation for purposes of prostitution.
While these cases are still on-going, things have gone further south yesterday when New York lawyer Tony Buzbee announced he’s hitting Diddy with 120 new charges for sexual assault.
Buzbee is representing dozens of men and women who claim to have been assaulted by Diddy from as early as 1991.
The lawyer said many of them complained they were drugged and then r_aped after which they were allegedly silenced with promises of being helped towards “becoming a star”.
Speaking at a press conference, Buzbee added that these new lawsuits will also expose some prominent individuals and companies where allegedly aware of and profited by turning a blind eye to Comb’s crime enterprise.
“Many dirty secrets will be revealed,” Buzbee said. “Many powerful people will be exposed.”
These new cases will bring to at least 132 the number of cases Diddy faces. The accusers are spread across 25 states with the majority in Diddy’s childhood home state of New York, as well as California, Georgia and Florida.
Diddy has already been denied bail twice, but his lawyers have applied for a third attempt to have him out.
